I've been trying to join my friends island but it keeps saying I have no island. So I do /tpa (playername) without the ('s and nothing happened. No message about Tpa request sent. This is happening on to everyone I know for my friend. how do I fix this?

Your friend might have accidentally used /ignore. You shouldn't need to have an island to join somebody else's; they need to do /is invite Shrekz. If you can't tpa, have your friend try the command /tpahere Shrekz. If that doesn't work, maybe your friend should update his MC version.
