Kicked for inactivity

When I log on in the morning before school I put my minecraft character by my cacti farm to afk. When I come back from school it either says ''kicked for inactivity ,or the sever is restarting please relog in a few moments.
1.How long can obsidian people be on before it kicks you
2. How long does it take for one reset to another? -
1. I think it is 4 hours of AFK, I am not sure.
2. Dan/Kubsz reset when they need to load in a plug-in or need to clear a bug, I believe that it is random. They don't say though when they are going to reset. -
